Milk Frothing Pitchers

Milk frothers come in two varieties - hand held or pump and pour.  With a handheld frother you simply insert the whip into a mug of either cold or pre-warmed milk, turn on the motor and work the frother up and down.

With Pump and pour, simply fill the carafe 1/3 full with either cold or pre-warmed milk, then pump the plunger up and down using short, quick strokes to initiate milk frothing.

Cappuccino Frothing Thermometer

Cappuccino Frothing Thermometer

The ideal milk frothing temperature when making cappuccino and latte is between 140 and 160 degrees F; lower temperatures do not produce a hot beverage while exceeding 160F can scald the milk.  Monitor the temperature of your milk with this thermometer.
